Hooray it's finally here! Though we are sad to see summer go, just 2 days ago it started getting colder and frosty in the mornings. The sign that school is here. We had a good weekend, and got them all ready with their clothes laid out (ok well much drama as usual and 3 outfit changes for sis). They were to bed early. I think it was the getting up early that really did them in though. Most years I start them the week before so they can "acclimate". Today we just jumped right in. They will get to bed early again and maybe by tomorrow have it down. This also marks the first year EVER that sis did not wear a DRESS on the 1st day of school. We sacrificed style for comfort this year. 2 days ago she got a huge blister ON TOP of her foot from a bouncy house at a birthday party! How on earth does one do this? No idea. I wasn't there. But anyway pretty much all shoes were a no...and since we pick the shoes THEN the outfit it left very little in the way of suitable choices. LOL Anyway here are the kiddos on their first day.
