07.18.2009 Home and the New Normal

Well we are home. Whew! That was fun. We drove Erick's car back so I could get back to work on Thursday. DeRell had to stay a couple more days. I would have killed for 2-3 more days. It was just that much too short and so much packed into such a short time. Next year I would like 3 weeks minimum. Please Lord, make that happen!

So the cat (Katie) is skin and bones - not sure if she didn't eat or what. Jack grew a TON and looks so big to us. It seems so long ago these 2 hated each other and would hiss and fight. Now they are friends. Just a couple of months and now they snuggle?


The dogs are stoked we are back too - but i don't have any witty photos of them spooning or anything. They are boys - they don't do that sort of thing.

Another month and Erick heads off to COLLEGE. Wow - that is gonna turn my world upside down. It will be the new normal. Two little ones at home and the family of 4. Very strange indeed. So here's to the new normal.
