Late in the school year the school board was presented with a proposal for a new fundraiser. Our school is so small and has a limited budget. We rely on our annual fundraisers to keep us in the black. This was a great opportunity, if it worked well, for a new annual fundraiser. We got a permanent food booth at the Missoula Fair. It is an hour away but we managed to get volunteers to handle 5 days worth of 6 hour shifts. I worked 4 shifts/4 different days. It was exhausting. I also "volunteered" my son (as us moms often do). He also recruited me 3 others. It made a big difference! We did pretty well and the fair-goers LOVED the Kabobs. It will be a hit for years to come. And they were DELICIOUS!

Cassie is Steven's wife. They were just married 1 week before. Steven is one of Erick's Best Friends from High School. They will all be living in Missoula soon while she goes to school - and Erick too.
