Apparently concert tickets was my "go to gift" for Birthdays this year. For my best friend Wendy, i decided to get her and I some tickets to the Third Day concert. It's an outdoor venue at the Missoula Fairgrounds, where we saw Mercy Me last year. There was 7 of us sitting on blankets in the grass last year and it was alot of fun. I thought it would be fun for the 2 of us to go, not knowing that she didn't even know Third Day that well! (should have taken her to the AWESOME Casting Crowns concert) It was fun to enjoy the laid back atmosphere. We sat in lawn chairs. We got Carmel Apples from the fairgrounds and munched on those. We knew the opening band, they are from the Bitterroot and 3 of them played at her daughters graduation party last year! Small world again I tell you. Third Day has been around for years so i knew at least 1/2 of what they played. It was a fun night out and relaxing girlfriend time. AMEN!
