07.13.2008 Church OUTSIDE

We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Every once in awhile-especially in the summer, our church has church "outside" at someone's house, park, etc. This summer twice we had it at Tom & Lori Cousins house (the other time was Father's Day). It is just lawnchairs and relaxing. Potluck and fishin in their pond afterwards, what could be more wonderful than enjoying the surroundings our God has made for us?

 

Erick, while helping Danielle, catches this lovely little trout from their pond. Shhhhh, i won't tell that he caught it with the pink/blue Barbie fishing pole. Nah, I'll just blog it instead for the world to see. We had German Choc cake to celebrate Erick's Bday he is turning 17!! Mom & DeRell got him the new ENV-2 cell phone so he is pretty happy. Well, actually he is having to pay for most of it. But we LET him have it. HEHEHEHE. Check out next weeks post for his REAL present.

 

Bubba enjoying nature. This is Bubba being Bubba. He's my mellow, low drama, loving sweetheart. Earlier in the day we had fun, fun, fun rolling down the grassy hills. These are the kinds of summer days the kids will remember when they are older i hope. Food, friends, fun, fishin.....and contemplating what a beautiful world God has made.
