The hardest part about having such a great vacation is leaving. And the long ride home. It started out well, but before we could even get over the grapevine there was an accident with a motorcycle down-and we tried to keep the kids distracted so they wouldn't see! We drove straight through to Reno the first night - exhausted we arrived late and got up early. Stayed at Circus Circus cuz it was cheap (i know, i know i should have learned my lesson with the Sun & Sands) but it was very nice, with very nice rooms -they upgraded me for free cuz i asked! So Danielle & I hit the Midaway for about an hour that night, then crashed into bed about 11pm. The next day would be the longest and most nerve racking thats for sure.
Lindz took this picture somewhere before Sacramento in the valley South of there, incredulous of the high gas prices. (It was about a dollar less in Montana when we left). Thankfully we didn't have to stop at that station! Our gas averaged between $3.75 and $4.10 during the trip. Ahh, the advantages of living in Montana-cheap gas.
