Almost there! We had the option of staying again in Jackpot, NV (not far over the Idaho border) or trying to drive all the way through to Montana. We decided to go for it. I am glad we did-even though those last 2 days made for the longest driving days ever! I am so thankful to have had Lindsey with me (to talk me off the ledge after being cooped up with fighting kids in a car for hours on end) and for a great vacation companion that NEVER complained about anything and was happy to go with the flow. I will always be thankful for her during this time and hope she had a great time too!
A fun photo we took to show how many miles we had logged this trip (not to metion how pickin hot it was during the trip!) Can you read that temperature - 102 degrees. Ughhhh. Oh but we know Montana won't be that HOT!
Oh and it all pays off! Who would have thought my boy would EVER be potty trained?! I swear i thought he'd be going to Kindergarten in Pull-ups! Nope, bought that last package in Ripon (thanx Lindz) on the way there and never had to use them again! Here he is, *tear* i am so proud....peeing on the side of the road. This is a pic i will cherish..and have to save for High School graduation slide show...*evil laugh* hehehehehe. Oh what a lovely summer.
