Well i am pretty sure it was the fact that she actually got to RIDE a horse after all these months! She was so excited she was on cloud nine. Her dream come true.
As a parent it made my heart full to see the joy in her face - i could almost FEEL how happy it made her. She had confidence. She had poise. She was excited beyond belief.
Plus - what a CUTE new riding helmet she got.. if i do say so myself! LOL
Don't look too close or you just might notice that she is so short her feet didn't reach the stirrups! We will be getting her some gear that fits over the horn of the saddle for next week.
After her lesson she rode "Spice" back to the barn where they took off her halter, bit and saddle and brushed her down. It was a great experience.
Not bad for the horse either - I'm sure she could sense her joy and well having a 45lb rider is probably a big PLUS if you are a horse.
